| Editorial Reviews:
Product Description These bar-top levers are the sensible choice for Cyclocross bikes. They are designed to work in-line with traditional drop bar shifter/levers to provide additional braking control position on the top of handlebars. Crosstops are compatible with caliper or cantilever brakes. They are available in two different sizes to fit 26.0mm and 31.8mm handlebars. Construction: Machined aluminum lever and bracket (hinged for assembly ease). A neat 2.5mm hex bolt takes up tolerances in the pivot, assuring you of no "slop" in the lever action.

| Customer Reviews: Cane Creek Cyclocross brake lever April 1, 2009 D. Osborn Purchased these to use on my aero bars on a vintage Raleigh. These are
easy to install and the braking power on these brakes is greater than
the traditional brake levers found on traditional racing bikes.
Great Value September 14, 2009 J. Petry These brake handles do exactly what I need them to do (brake), and they look great while doing it. Small and unobtrusive on my handlebars, they satisfy.
Works like it should September 5, 2008 Terry Crock (Massillon, Ohio USA) 1 out of 2 found this review helpful
Hmmm, well it is a brake lever and it works like a brake lever should. It is cheap enough. It is easy to put on because the clamp part is hinged so you don't have to remove other levers or bar tape or the like. It won't work with V-brakes however, so don't try; fine though with caliper and cantilever brakes. So, there isn't much else to say: it's a good lever for the price and it works as it should.
One other thing though--the picture shown on this page when I bought this set of levers and at the time I wrote this review is wrong. The lever shown is a slightly different looking lever than what you receive--the levers you receive are more "swoopy" looking. The function was the same though, but the seller should get his act together so you get what you see without any surprises.
